For my specialism as a "Lighting Designer" I currently have the following skills base for this role that are technical or related specifically to the role.

- General Lighting Understanding

- Gel, filter and Gobo knowledge

- Theatrical, Studio and Effects Lighting knowledge

- Basic planning diagrams

- 2-5 point lighting

- Bulb and LED lighting understanding

- Rigging

- Scaffold + Ladder knowledge

- Digital cue programming

- DMX 512 knowledge

My life skills that I have that are relevant to this role are:

- Team leader

- Working Individually or as part as a team

- Imaginative/creative

- Good communication

These are all my current skills that relate to my specialism choice of "Lighting Designer" however my skills base will need improvements as I begin my journey into freelance media. So some of the skills I have identified that need improving for the role specifically are:

- Lighting understanding

- Colour Frequencies  (Hz)

- Rigging + Ladders (Safety and Usage)

- Studio Lighting and Sound stage lighting
